application
connected on the lowest end of a multi-stage sliding sleeve fracturing pipe string. circulation may be established during run-in-hole. after the string is run to designed depth, a ball is released and the isolation valve is hydraulically activated. isolation between pipe string and annulus is achieved.

1. during run-in-hole, the pipe string and annulus is communicated. after the flow-by ports are closed, the pipe inside and annulus is isolated.
2. hold-down mechanism prevents the back-flow of annulus fluid. |
