the hydraulic-activated sleeve is one of the tools connected on the lower end of a multi-stage fracturing pipe string. after the downhole isolation valve is closed, pressure is built up to open the ports.
features
1. the ports are designed with large flow-by area, leaving no choking effect.
2. the ports are opened by differential pressure. dropping a ball is not necessary.
